Pixar: MOVING = ANIMATION Cinema

In the so-called "Animation Cinema", there´re several scenes in which it´s difficult for me to contain emotions and tears, which, I think, it´s much harder to achieve in the case of "cartoons".

"Toy Story 3", by Lee Unkrich

 "The Tomb of the Fireflies", by Isao Takahata

For example, and apart, logically, from the great "The Tomb of the Fireflies", by Isao Takahata, or the loss of the childhood in "Toy Story 3", by Lee Unkrich, I´ll recall here three moments from Pixar´s movies, respectively and in order of strong feelings:

1- "Up", by Pete Docter and Bob Peterson (there´re only five minutes which I always end up crying...);

2- "Ratatouille", by Brad Bird (that's right: people apparently "serious, severe, and reserved" were children once, all of us have a mother, things in life are not white or black, and often this kind of people only have a iron curtain where they hide their feelings because fear...); and

3- "Coco", by Lee Unkrich: Coco's face expression when she is listening music is speechless and extremely moving: a really true achievement of animation technique by Pixar team: congratulations to them!!  :-)

Pixar makes magnificent movies. From my point of view, and with permission of the master Hayao Miyazaki, they do the best animated films, true masterpieces with excellent scripts above all and most importantly!
